A challenge

It has been a while since I posted anything having to do with films. And really, that is the whole point of this blog is to be a chronicle of my film making adventures past present and future. So why have I not posted? Quite simply I really have nothing to say. I have been so wrapped up in the new projects that it was interesting for me to write about them. Lots of pictures and new stuff going on. The sad truth is that aside from a show that I have no idea what it is about and was supposed to shoot this past weekend but was postponed, I have nothing going on. Which is sad. I want to do another film. One on the cheap using my camera and lights and kid. But I have no idea what the story should be. I am thinking something Tweenie and angsty with simple settings and dialog so the kid can do it but beyond that I have not idea. I am really not a writer. Any thoughts out there. Yasamine or Iwanski, wanna write up a short 4 or 5 page script and see it done? Something involving a 12 year old kid and maybe her Mom? We can do interiors and maybe some exteriors and I have a cool dolly that I want to use. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Just clean and simple with basic structure and arc.
And a big thanks and shout out to Barista Brat for including me in her links. She is fun to read.
Now that the flood gate has been opened I think I’ll write up a bit about the past in the next couple of days. There is a lot to say about it.

Actually, that is exactly what I am working on. A kid, a Mom, interiors, exteriors, 4 or 5 pages.

Weird. But I want to film in Chicago.

Iwanski-too bad.
I have been thinking about it and one thing we could do is take her through the Heros journey. I just need to remember the paradigm for that. Fluffy?

I don`t pretend to know where one would begin, most of my storie ideas just sneak up on me without much notice but if yuor just wanting something to do for fun, how about making a fan vid? You could choose a TV show, movie or story and spin it yourselves. You could maybe even do what I`d like to try and make a music video using the family. Maybe even incorperate it into Lorraines `Eighties Weekend` as a homemade vid set to music from that era. Just thhinking out loud. The music vid thing is something I plan on trying as soon as I get caught up with my current projects.

Actually I am thinking of something a bit more dramatic. Give the child a chance to work her acting chops and a bit more structured than some of the other things I have done over the past year or so.
